International Workshop on Optimal Control in Image Processing
Heidelberg, Germany, May 31 - June 2, 2010
The aim of this workshop is to bring together leading scientist
from around the world, focusing on different aspects of optimal control problems
in digital image processing. Also, applications from atmospheric research such as data assimilation and
satellite remote sensing will be presented.
The current state of the art of
research should be presented and current research interests discussed.
Through these discussions, novel impulses can be generated to tackle
current problems and shortcomings of the methodologies as well as to identify needs within the application areas.
Invited scientists are leading experts
in the fields of optimal control theory, numerics, image processing and
environmental sciences. This workshop will thus try to bridge
the gap between methodologies and application areas.
A special volume containing selected contributions and survey articles
will be published by Springer.
The booklet of abstracts can be downloaded here.
